Climate change: how much time we have left to implement the necessary changes?

DamonMatthewsIn December of 2015, one hundred and ninety-five countries met in Paris to adopt the first-ever universal, legally binding global climate agreement. It has charged countries with decreasing greenhouse gas emissions so as to limit global warming to between 1.5 and 2°C.

Professor Matthews will summarize the current state of the global climate challenge, outline what level of emissions would keep us below the Paris climate targets, and show how much time we have left to implement the necessary changes.
