Another season is about to start and we are very pleased to present our programme of the one hundred and sixteenth season of the St. James Literary Society!
This year, our speakers will reveal some of the secrets of synergology, what really went on at Dieppe in 1942, how to understand pain, diabetes, and sleep disorders, how to live a balanced life in a world that is always “on”, help us explore the many faces of apocalypticism and enjoy some operatic anecdotes. This just to name a few! We invite you to discover all our lectures and activities in the following pages. We hope the topics we have chosen will appeal to the broad interests of our members.
Like last year, most of our events will be held either at the McGill Faculty Club or at the Segal Center. Information on locations and maps are provided in the event pages.
Finally, we have reviewed our membership options to accommodate our members’ needs, offering two types of membership at discounted prices and the opportunity to become a Friend of the Society (see Membership tab).
As always, we are dedicated to making sure that you find your time with us enjoyable and stimulating. Should you want to make comments and suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to seeing you in September!
