With the help of sound and visual excerpts, discover six young Canadians who are poised to conquer the classical music world and also enjoy a series of musical anecdotes.

Following the presentation, sandwiches, scones, pastry, tea and coffee will be served.

RichardTurpThis is the eighth time Richard Turp has entertained our members. How can this unusual occurrence be explained? When it comes to the world of voice in opera, there is no one who can match his encyclopedic memory, his relaxed and friendly manner of presentation and his charming personality. Because of all these impressive attributes, Richard Turp is periodically consulted by such prestigious groups as Radio Canada and Bravo TV. He is both a jury member and consultant for the Jacqueline Desmarais Foundation for Young Canadian Opera Singers and has adjudicated several doctoral exams, especially at McGill University and Université de Montréal. Mr. Turp has taught courses on French diction at McGill as well as sessions on the vocal repertoire at UQAM and the Université de Montréal. He has been invited to give master classes at Harvard University and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
