On April 25, Dr. Marion Dove, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University as well as being a practicing family physician will speak about the many aspects of her professional work that contribute to the discipline of family medicine.
To provide more insight in to the meaning of academic family medicine, Dr. Dove will outline her experiences with urban and remote clinical medicine; with teaching students, residents, and faculty; and with leadership positions in the Department of Family Medicine.

Meditation refers to a broad variety of practices that include techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy and develop compassion, love, patience and forgiveness.
Ms. Solomonova is a Ph.D. Candidate and lecturer at the Université de Montrél. Her research currently involves combining sleep/dream science with studies of meditation. She will present some of the results of her own research on this subject.
Me Élisabeth Goodwin, a member of Grey Casgrain, a boutique law firm situated in Montreal, will present the details of one of her cases along with the pertinent jurisprudence.
The members of the audience will then be divided into small groups whose task will be to determine the guilt or innocence of the protagonist. Once deliberations are completed, the juries will deliver their verdicts along with their underlying reasons and Me Grey will announce the actual decision in the case.
